My headphones hold my head in its palms.
They protect me from the world I’m in, the place I find myself.
I’m in a place of nothing – just the stimulation of sound, and the effects of dreaming.
I’m anew in this world – the music is like a drug, a powerful addiction. I yearn for life like this.
Isolation wraps this time continum, and engulfs me entirely.
If only life could be like music – isolated in its purpose, free in its use.
