Slowly

Slowly, I see me… swaying through the waters that pass through this river, in this shallow stream, kindly swaying through the fiery waters that push up agains my skin and suck at my nerves and make my mind bleed – yet i sway gentle through these shallow depths of life – take me and do with me what you please i say, ’till i never remain…
Like a sharp cold pierces my sternum, the smooth pain defines my new thought… let me run this way, this way that I have followed, let me not follow, wallow or swallow in the waters that be – let the wet rush, the fire unexpected, amazed shudders, the blood through my veins heat up and my nerves shift their attention…

I’ll get there non-the-less, only I’ll do it my way – this confidfence yields this.
