Peace with yourself

Someone asked my what i meant when i said that you need to have peace with yourself.
And i told him that, to have faith and trust that you are who you think you are, you need to understand and rely on yourself.Trust yourself, listen to what you feel and react to your feelings for they are always right.Always.Perhaps they are interpreted in diffirent ways, but as long as you belive them you belive in you – and then you have peace with yourself.Then i was asked what does it mean to be with peace yourself…The man had lost many big things in life in a small time – i said that all worries in life are due to something not right somewhere – if something is not comfortable – then somewhere along the line something is not working the way it should be – this is one whay we can know that something that is current is not right. But what i failed to mention is that worry is when you feel that you can’t cope with something – you don’t feel that you have the ability or the full extent of the ability to deal with something correctly – you don’t know yourself. To know yourself is to not lie to yourself, to identify your ways and tendancies and feelings and say “yes i see this, its me, i accept it” and the rest goes from there.
It is a acceptance of the things that are you – and making them feel normal – and when you feel that you are normal and nothing about you is stange to you and you don’t feel strange about certain aspects of yourself – then you are free.
When you are at peace with yourself – you express everything the way you want, and don’t see any reason not to – you are you.You define yourself from this point onwards – no one defines you.
